I understand Barry’s stance. Licensing takes what is a lawful activity and makes it illegal. You need to then get a license to do what was lawful before the “license” was created. No matter what the mode of transportation, traveling is a right and people should be unhindered. Walking, running, bicycling, on horse or in a car the same rights exist. The “state” has mixed up commercial vehicles which have “operators” or “drivers” with Citizens who are travelers. Yes, vehicles involved in commerce can be licensed/regulated but it is not lawful to restrict a citizen’s right to travel.
