It was the main way of education for thousands of years of creativity, literacy, inventions, and industry but then institutional schooling and government- controlled schooling took over the minds and knowledge and hearts of children. Forty years of research on the modern homeschool movement shows that these children do better on average in terms of academic achievement, social and emotional development, and success into adulthood, including college/university.
